What is the difference between a book tour stop and a release party?

Book tour stops will feature an in-person conversation between SenLinYu and a moderator. Tickets will be bundled with a signed copy of Alchemised, as well as a printed in-world map.

Release parties will not include a signed copy or an author appearance, but will include raffles, games, and more.

What day will the release parties be?

Stores can elect to host their parties on the evening of Monday, September 22; Tuesday, September 23; or later that week, depending on their store's specific needs. Please contact the individual store for more information.

Will the author attend any of the release parties?

The author will attend the midnight release party in New York City on September 22, hosted by Barnes & Noble Union Square.

What are the raffle prizes for the bookstore release parties?

Each participating store will receive a number of Alchemised-specific art prints, pins, and other goodies to raffle off to attendees. These raffle prizes will be the same at each location.

Do I need to buy a book to attend a release party?

Each store will have different attendance requirements. Many will require prior registration. Please check with your specific store for details.

Will I automatically receive a signed copy of Alchemised if I attend a release party?

Signed copies of Alchemised are not included when you register for a release party.

What if my local bookstore is hosting a release party, but I already preordered Alchemised through that store? Does that automatically register me for their release party?

No. You will not automatically be registered for your store's release party. Each store will have different book pickup and ticketing requirements. Please check with your specific store for registration details.
